Henry Foner, together with the late Norman Franklin, worked with their friend, Irwin Corey, on a book entitled "Sex: Its Origin and Application: An Illustrated Lecture by Professor Irwin Corey, The World's Foremost Authority," which was published by the Citadel Press, New York, 1960. The illustrations were photos of Corey, like this one, taken by his late sister-in-law Ida Berman.

The image accompanies the song, "20-20 Lines to My Opthamologist, Dr. Elizabeth Fang," from Henry Foner: Songs and Poems (For Better or Verse), Labor Arts, New York, 2013.
